Domain Name

“Technically optional” - although we Strongly recommend having one as your domain name creates instant professionalism and trust with your new site visitors! Set it up through Squarespace or a 3rd party domain provider.

Optional - Professional Email

Getting away from an email that ends with gmail or yahoo and upgrading to an email that ends with your business name (example: hello@houseofbralyn.com) is another incredible way to look polished and professional while showing your viewers you’re a real business that has it together enough to have your own business email. Get one, you won’t regret it! You can add an email onto your squarespace subscription or create one with a 3rd party company of your choice.

Optional - Canva

You do not need a Canva account to utilize and customize this website template. However, we do offer separate templates for social media and brand kits. To utilize those assets you’ll need a Canva account. You can opt for a free account but will be limited to what you’re able to customize and create within the platform. Pro accounts are a low monthly fee and totally worth it (in our opinion).

After you purchase you will receive a “contributor's invite” link via email to access your new website within 24-48 hours.

Along with your ready made template, you will also receive access to our Squarespace tutorial library. The library includes video tutorials that will walk you through each step of your template customization. These are basic tutorials that allow you to quickly place your images, logo, branding, fonts and colors into your new template. The tutorial guides do not showcase adding new sections, creating new layouts or adding css / code. The template is here to make your web design process EASIER not more difficult.

The site will be installed as a trial website under your existing (or newly created) Squarespace account.

The layout/look of your new website will match the main demo site from the template listing that you purchased.

One purchase is equal to one website. If you plan to use the template to create multiple websites then additional templates must be purchased for each new website creation.

Images are sourced by House of Bralyn or from free stock image websites like UnSplash. While you are able to use images that come in your template, we recommend you upload your own images to really speak to your future customers/clients and to make it feel more authentic to your business. The images that come in your template are more of a placeholder for your own unique imagery.

All fonts are free and included within the Squarespace font library. No font downloads are necessary to use your template. Some fonts might need to be purchased/downloaded if you want to create custom branding kits using the same font as your website.

Our templates are specifically designed for use with Squarespace 7.1. They are not compatible with Squarespace 7.0 or other website platforms such as ShowIt, Wix or WordPress.

Unfortunately it will not. The templates in our shop are designed using Squarespace website 7.1. They and are not compatible with Squarespace website 7.0. But we can help you upgrade to the 7.1 version so you can take advantage of these beautiful templates!

Absolutely! When you checkout, please indicate if you would like to add the template to your existing website. You will need to give us a website permission/contributor invite to access your existing website, so we can install this template page. An easy way to refresh an already established website.

After your purchase is complete, we will send you an invitation within 24-48 hours to accept your new template within your Squarespace account. Make sure you provide us the email address of your existing Squarespace account. Your contact email may be different from the email you used to create your Squarespace account. (If you don’t have a Squarespace acct they are fast and easy to setup.) After you accept the invitation link sent via email, the template will be automatically applied to a new website within your Squarespace dashboard, complete with a 3-month free trial!

You'll automatically receive a 3-month free website trial allowing you to take your time making edits and perfecting your page. You’re only going to need a couple days because we have done the work for you :) When you're ready to launch/publish, you'll need to upgrade to a paid Squarespace plan. When the time comes you can view the options and choose which subscription you need. Most people begin with a basic plan. With a one page design it’s unlikley you need all the “fluffy” add on features in Squarespace.

We recommend purchasing a custom Domain Name with your business name. If you are creating a brand new business it is important to see if the domain you want is available.

Also recommended is having a professional email account setup with your custom domain address. Get rid of the gmail or yahoo email associated with your business and upgrade to one connected to your domain. (Example: hello@houseofbralyn.com)

Yes! This template is setup for you to function as a standalone one page website design. It could also be incorporated into your existing Squarespace website. It’s perfect forservice providers that sell their services online or through a local brick and mortar storefront. It’s also fast and easy because I know as a business owner you need to get back to your To Do List!

This single page template is fully optimized for mobile viewing. Squarespace has a built in mobile editor for each template that allows for you to get a custom design that's specifically tailored to look great on smaller screens. A tutorial for how to adjust mobile viewing will be included with your purchase.

Some templates include graphics (icons, silhouettes, shapes) these items will already be uploaded in your new website “asset” files. You can use them from within your Squarespace website.
